Interoperability

Connect identification, machines and hospital systems.

Steritrack separates what is implemented today from what is architecture-ready. Identification is live; machine and hospital-system links are scoped per site with the vendors involved.

GS1 / DataMatrix — implemented

Identifier parsing and a tenant-scoped resolution registry are in production code.

  • GS1 application identifiers
  • UDI DI + PI parsing
  • Browser label printing

HID-neutral scanning — implemented

Works with standard keyboard-wedge scanners, no proprietary driver required.

  • Workstation context
  • Fast resolution path
  • Safe offline behaviour

RFID — ready

The identifier model accepts additional carrier types without schema redesign.

  • Carrier-agnostic identifiers
  • Registry extensibility

Equipment & Edge — foundation

An Edge agent transport is declarable; each machine protocol is vendor-specific.

  • Declarable transports
  • Message queue and log
  • Manual evidence entry fallback

Files & webhooks — foundation

CSV/SFTP and webhook transports are the realistic pilot exchange path for ERP data.

  • Versioned imports
  • Message status tracking
  • Delivery logs

HL7 / FHIR — not implemented

Assessed and scoped, but no connector is shipped and no patient data is processed.

  • Requires site specifications
  • Requires test systems and credentials

Live machine and hospital-system integrations require vendor specifications, credentials and test equipment. Steritrack does not process patient data.
